Terms of Service (ToS)

Effective 2026-10-28

Important — license only, no hosting WasFor only licenses the panel software. We do NOT provide server hosting, infrastructure or host any customer websites. Customers are solely responsible for their own servers, data, websites and compliance on their own infrastructure.

1. Who we are and what we sell

WasFor develops and licenses a self-hosted web hosting control panel ("the Software"). References to "WasFor", "we", "us" or "our" mean the WasFor software vendor. References to "you" or "Customer" mean the individual or legal entity using the Software or a WasFor account.

Our commercial offering is a software license, including license keys, updates and the my.wasfor.com licensing portal. We are not a hosting provider, data centre operator, ISP or managed service provider.

2. No hosting, no infrastructure

WasFor does not sell, resell, provide or operate servers, virtual machines, colocation, bandwidth, storage, backups or any other infrastructure. All servers on which the Software runs are procured, configured, secured, monitored and paid for by you. We never host, store or process the content of your websites or your customers' websites on your behalf.

3. Accounts and license keys

You must create an account at my.wasfor.com to purchase and manage licenses. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account data, for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. License keys may be bound to a server fingerprint and may not be shared, resold or used beyond the scope of the plan you purchased.

4. Plans, fees and renewals

Plans, included features and prices are published at our pricing page and on my.wasfor.com. Fees are stated in US dollars and are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Monthly, yearly and 3-year billing options are charged in advance for the selected term. Unless required by law or expressly stated at checkout, fees are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

Your use of the Software and the licensing portal must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, our EULA and all applicable laws. You are solely responsible for the content, security, legality and operation of the websites and services you run on your own infrastructure.

6. Intellectual property

The Software, documentation, brand assets and the my.wasfor.com service are protected by intellectual property laws and remain the property of WasFor or its licensors. These Terms grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software; they do not transfer ownership.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Software and the licensing portal are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with your infrastructure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WasFor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Software or the licensing portal. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the fees you paid to WasFor for the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account or license if you breach these Terms, the EULA or the AUP, if payment fails, or if required by law. You may stop using the Software at any time. On termination, your right to use the Software ends, subject to any surviving provisions.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated through your account or by email where appropriate. Questions: admin@wasfor.com.

Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-10-28

Scope We process account and billing data for the licensing service. We do not host customer websites, so we do not process the content or visitor data of your websites.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, hashed password, language preference, referral code and account role.
  • License data: license keys, plan, billing cycle, instance/server fingerprints and activation timestamps.
  • Billing data: order history, invoices, payment status and the identifiers returned by our payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical data: IP address, user agent, timestamps and security logs generated when you sign in or use the licensing portal.
  • Support data: messages you send to us and any attachments you choose to provide.

2. How we use data

We use data to create and secure accounts, issue and validate licenses, process payments, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and send service messages. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.

3. What we do not do

We do not host, access or process the content of websites operated on your infrastructure, and we do not sell personal data. We do not use customer website data for advertising or model training.

4. Sharing

We share data with service providers listed on our Subprocessors page (for example payment processing, email delivery and infrastructure for the licensing portal), and with authorities where required by law. We require processors to protect data with appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

Account, license and billing records are kept for as long as your account is active and afterwards for the period required by tax, accounting and legal obligations. Security logs are kept for a limited period. You may request deletion of account data, subject to mandatory retention.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise a right, contact admin@wasfor.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Security and international transfers

We use encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege practices. Data may be processed in countries other than yours; where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards.

End User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective 2026-10-28

Important — license only, no hosting WasFor only licenses the panel software. We do NOT provide server hosting, infrastructure or host any customer websites. Customers are solely responsible for their own servers, data, websites and compliance on their own infrastructure.

1. Grant of license

Subject to payment of applicable fees and compliance with this EULA and the ToS, WasFor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the Software on servers that you own or lawfully control, for the term and plan you purchased.

2. License keys and instances

License keys are personal to your account, may be bound to a server fingerprint, and may only be used for the number of instances permitted by your plan. You must not share, publish, resell or circumvent license keys or activation checks.

3. Restrictions

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, sublicense, rent, lease or distribute the Software except as expressly permitted by law or by a separate written agreement. You may not remove proprietary notices or use WasFor branding in a misleading way.

4. Your infrastructure and responsibilities

The Software is self-hosted. You are solely responsible for procuring and operating servers, operating systems, network, storage, backups, security, patching, monitoring, content and compliance. WasFor does not provide server hosting, infrastructure, administration or managed services, and does not host any customer websites.

5. Updates and support

Updates and support are provided according to your plan. We may release updates, patches or new versions at our discretion. Features may change over time; we will not intentionally remove core functionality during a paid term without a reasonable alternative.

6. Third-party components

The Software may include open-source or third-party components governed by their own licenses. Those licenses apply to the relevant components and prevail over this EULA where required.

7. Warranty and liability

The Software is licensed "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WasFor's aggregate liability under this EULA is limited to the fees paid for the license in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, and excludes indirect or consequential damages.

8. Termination

This EULA terminates automatically if you breach it or if your license term expires and is not renewed. On termination you must stop using the Software and remove licensed copies, except where a perpetual or free license applies.

9. Contact

License questions: admin@wasfor.com.

Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Effective 2026-10-28

You operate the infrastructure WasFor licenses panel software only. Any website, mailbox, database or service you run is hosted on your own infrastructure, under your control and your responsibility.

1. Prohibited uses

You must not use the Software or the licensing portal to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation or third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy and data protection rights.
  • Host or distribute malware, phishing, spam, fraud, ransomware or other harmful code or content.
  • Attack, scan, overload or gain unauthorised access to systems, networks or data.
  • Host content that is illegal, including child sexual abuse material, or content that promotes violence or terrorism.
  • Circumvent licensing, share license keys, or misrepresent an affiliation with WasFor.
  • Resell, sublicense or bundle the Software except as expressly permitted in writing.

2. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the activity of your users and customers, for the security of your servers and for responding to abuse reports. You must maintain a valid abuse contact and cooperate with lawful investigations.

3. Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate a license or account for a material or repeated breach of this AUP, or where required by law. We may also report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.

4. Reporting abuse

Report abuse of the Software or of license keys to admin@wasfor.com. WasFor cannot act on abuse occurring on infrastructure it does not operate; in those cases please contact the relevant hosting provider.

Cookie Policy

Effective 2026-10-28

1. What we use

We keep our cookie use minimal. The licensing portal mainly relies on strictly necessary storage:

  • Authentication: a session token stored in your browser so you stay signed in.
  • Preferences: your language selection and interface settings, stored locally in your browser.
  • Security: short-lived values used to protect forms against cross-site request forgery.

2. Analytics and advertising

We do not use advertising cookies and do not sell data. If we introduce optional analytics in the future, we will ask for consent where required and update this policy.

3. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using the licensing portal.

4. Third parties

Payment pages operated by our payment processors may set their own cookies. Please review their policies. See Subprocessors.

Subprocessors

Effective 2026-10-28

To operate the my.wasfor.com licensing service we use the following categories of service providers. Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its service and is bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

  • Payment processing: Stripe and/or PayPal, for checkout, subscriptions and invoices. Payment card data is handled by the payment provider, not stored by us.
  • Email delivery: transactional email providers used for verification, password reset, license notifications and receipts.
  • Hosting and infrastructure: cloud and network providers that host the my.wasfor.com licensing portal and its database.
  • Support and operations: tools used to provide customer support and to monitor availability and security of the licensing portal.

We do not use subprocessors to host or process the content of customer websites, because WasFor does not host customer websites. We will update this page when we add or replace a subprocessor that processes personal data. Questions: admin@wasfor.com.
